Obra Social la Caixa Announces 48 scholarships to pursue graduate studies, at universities in the United States or Canada, during 2016-2017. The call covers all areas of knowledge and is aimed at college graduates, graduates and graduates. The studies are of master or doctorate. Also are supported, depending on the interest of the topic and of the value of the candidate, the doctoral projects of scientific and technical research. Fellows should be incorporated into the targeted universities in the Fall Term of the course 2016-2017.
scholarship covers:
enrolment in University or centre of higher education in the United States or Canada that fellow, no limit of amount has been admitted.
Monthly provision of 2,150 dollars for studies in United States or 2,150 dollars for studies in Canada.
Initial endowment of 2,150 dollars or 2,150 dollars, depending on the country of destination, expenses of installation, shifting to congresses, seminars, books, and other assistance.
Ticket of ida in aircraft from the airport closest to the usual address of the fellow to the airport of destination in the United States or Canada, by the most direct route, tourist-class.
Provision of $1,200 or 1,200 dollars, at the end of the grant, to cover transportation costs for the return journey.
Final allocation of 250 euros for the costs associated with the issuance of the title, the grades obtained accreditation (transcripts) and other administrative expenses that may be derived from the completion of the studies for which the scholarship is granted.
Cost of five applications (application fees) at universities in the United States and/or Canada.
Cost of expedition of the United States or Canada student visa and the SEVIS Fee in the case of United States.
Preliminary discussion on Indiana University conferences.
Health insurance and accidents in the United States or Canada.
applicants should have Spanish nationality. Can apply for a scholarship the University graduates, graduates and graduates who have completed studies in faculties or institutions of higher education of the Spanish universities; candidates who prove studies diploma, engineering or technical architecture, or graduate with a less than 240 ECTS credits workload provided that, in addition, credited the upper cycle that complement any of the above-mentioned qualifications either a master’s degree 60 ECTS credits taught at any University of the European area of higher education.

In this case, candidates must prove, in order to obtain the scholarship, having completed studies at the call of June/July 2015; the top music teachers, who must have completed studies in any school or Conservatory of music.

applicants must demonstrate their knowledge of the language of use of the University who plan to apply for admission to one of the following certificates:
if the studies are taught in English (United States and Canadian anglophone universities):
• TOEFL (minimum score: 95 in Internet Based).
• University of Cambridge: Certificate in Advanced English (grade A or B) or Certificate of Proficiency in English.
• IELTS (minimum score: 7, in either Academic and General Training version).
if the studies are taught in French (Canadian Francophone universities):
• official certificate stating that has reached the level B2.2 of the European framework of reference for languages (TCF, TEF, DELF, DALF, TFI, etc.).
• accreditation of the French baccalaureate or a degree or university diploma (Bac + 3 or Bac + 4) issued by a French or francophone University also allowed as proof of proficiency in the French language.
for all candidates who do not have an accreditation level of this language, the French institutes of Spain (Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Valencia and Zaragoza) held a French test on 12 January 2015.
applicants wishing to make a master in business administration (MBA) must prove a minimum score of 700 on the GMAT test and submit any of the following accreditations:
